Encouragement Can Change The World. 💛

Encouragement Can Change The World. 💛

Have a friend (or child, spouse, parent) going after a goal in big ways?
Working on their fitness, giving up smoking, starting a new business, taking a class in something unfamiliar, taking a chance on real love or their own real potential?

Forging new ground and instilling new habits requires heaps of courage and no small amount of discipline. It can be a little lonely sometimes, and laced with doubt.

In those seasons, there is nothing like receiving a word of ‘I see you’ kind of encouragement from someone you care about.

One of my favorite expressions is, ‘begin to weave and God will give the thread.’ This applies to new habits and adventures, and also to what happens when you feel led to encourage someone.

All you need to do is the positive thing you feel led to do for someone working hard, and God takes care of the timing and the effect!

Trust me - your words will arrive in the mail (or be found in a lunch bag, backpack or tote) at just the right time. : )

Please take a moment to acknowledge someone’s efforts today - you just never know the difference it can make!

Our new ’So Proud, So Happy’ card is available in our Plano store and online shop - it makes a super high-five for lots of things, including graduations this spring and summer!

Xoxo,

 —Walt Disney

"I wake up every morning and think to myself, ‘How far can I push this company in the next 24 hours." —Leah Busque
"We need to accept that we won’t always make the right decisions, that we’ll screw up royally sometimes―understanding that failure is not the opposite of success, it’s part of success." ―Arianna Huffington
